All contests will be held under the Texas Amateur Mixed Martial Arts rules with three 3-minute rounds and 7-ounce gloves. Combatants must register to compete, and if chosen, must fill out an application form. Contests will be decided by skill level, age, weight and height to maximize competitiveness. BATTLE OF THE SHIELD will take place in a 24-foot cage and will be promoted exclusively by SUN Sports & Entertainment, Inc., located in Addison, Texas.
